Honoring the sacrifice made by Indian Army Members, United World Academy is offering 40% scholarships.

United World Academy (UWA) takes great pride in its longstanding partnership with the Indian Army. Through this agreement, deserving Indian Army officers who are active service, short commission or retired can receive scholarships from Nursery through Grade 8 for the current year 2023 – 2024 at UWA – giving these soldiers and women who have protected our nation without expecting anything in return an excellent global education.

UWA stands out as an internationally recognized residential school that places emphasis on academic success and overall development of its students. Drawing an inspiration from International Baccalaureate (IB) framework makes this school an exceptional place for learning and growth. Under K. C. Vijay Kumar’s direction, this renowned institution began Greenwood High. Furthermore, this acclaimed figure is also a member of Vivekananda Educational Society besides being an accomplished real estate developer for many years.

United World Academy spans a massive 17-acre site with 150,000 square feet of EDGE certified buildings, boasting four quadrants of development: head, heart, hands and spirit – designed to give each student the best possible education.

UWA strives to help its students excel not just academically, but in all aspects of life. Programs such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards and International Award for Young People (IAYP) foster mental growth and resilience as well as supporting personal development and community service, both of which are integral parts of military service in India.

UWA utilizes a 2-year scientific competency mapping program to recognize each child’s individual abilities and potential. We then use this knowledge to discover and enhance each child’s natural gifts so they may succeed at whatever endeavour they choose to undertake.

UWA places great emphasis on physical health. Their structured sports curriculum helps individuals get fit while teaching disciplined teamwork skills. UWA prides themselves on producing well-rounded people who not only excel academically but can also excel athletically.

UWA places great emphasis on developing students with soft skills and life experience that will enable them to thrive in an ever-evolving global society, making an invaluable contribution.

UWA’s approach to education places an emphasis on moral character and social responsibility through modules aligned with Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW). Students gain an understanding of social problems communities are facing as well as ways they can assist – all aligning perfectly with core values of Indian Armed forces.

UWA provides students in grades 6th-8th beyond Grade 8 an exclusive range of residential and boarding spaces. Their buildings serve kindergarten through grade 12, so that learners do not have to move as they grow academically.

UWA’s relationship with the Indian Army is one way UWA shows our appreciation to those who work tirelessly to defend India, sending their children to school while making sacrifices on our behalf. Our hope is that this helps make up for their sacrifices made on behalf of India.

United World Academy’s decision to offer full scholarships to children of Indian Army officers is an effective way of showing our appreciation and support for our military. With this gesture in line with “Jai Hind,” we aim to give young people who deserve it access to high-quality education while creating an ideal learning environment – hopefully leading them down paths that produce kind, smart and responsible citizens who leave a mark on society.
