The largest-ever fest of Maritime Training in India, NAUGHTICA 2K22, was organized by the Offing Group in Mumbai from 7th October 2022 to 8th October 2022. NAUGHTICA – A mega event that brought together the Next Generation of Maritime Talent from across the nation – to one platform! An opportunity for Aspiring Mariners, Cadets & Technical Students to be a part of a large inter-college fest with participation from all corners of India to showcase their talent.
It promoted various stakeholders of the maritime industry. It gave an opportunity for Shipping Companies to network with the alma matter of a large number of Training Institutes at one location. A platform for aspiring Mariners to appreciate and understand the various employment opportunities available in the Marine, Oil & Gas Industry

International Maritime Institute (IMI) is a premier maritime institute in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was founded in 1991. IMI, the leading maritime institute in India, has been associated with MSC for over two decades. MSC Ship Management has been consistently investing in and supporting the training of cadets and taking care of their welfare. In recent years MSC has further strengthened this relationship by setting up the MSC Training Academy, a joint venture with IMI to train crew for their cruise line vessels, thereby furthering maritime careers and creating opportunities for future generations.
Naughtica 2k22 was a grand success, especially for the cadets of International Maritime Institute Greater Noida, as the institute grabbed the runners-up trophy for participating in this Maritime extravaganza for the very first time. Out of 24 Maritime colleges from across the nation IMI team enthusiastically participated in Naughtica 2K22 and won the silver trophy and missed the Winners trophy by a meagre 1 point, and scored 11 points overall.
The Magnificent trophy was presented to the Institute by the Directorate General of Shipping.

The cadets who bought laurels to the institute include- Cadet Ritik Yadav and Cadet Mayank Malik (Gold medal in Indoor Rowing), Cadet Sachin Kalkal( Gold medal in Mind toss quiz), Cadet Prajwal Kumar, Cadet Karan S lingam, Cadet Aashutosh Singh, Cadet Sushobhit Sharma and Cadet Akshat Sharaf (bagged gold medal in Troupe dance), Cadet Saunak Chakraborty (silver medal in Doodle art). In the Naughtica Theme video, IMI was ranked one of the best colleges.
The events in which IMI cadets participated include -Acoustic Band, Troupe dance, Personality contest, Wow factor, Doodle Art, Indoor Rowing, Futsal, chess, table tennis, Nautifit, Tech skills, Nauti Skills, Mind Toss and Table Tennis.
The cadets got the opportunity to interact with various delegates from prominent organizations like Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), Aswan, DG Shipping, Fleet management, Bernhard Schulte and many more.
